So we have these little “free library” stations around town with books and there’s one right outside my apartment and I just went out and found this beauty!!!!:) also today’s run felt great! Just focused on form and breathing

Just did some track repeats at 4:25 mile pace (repeat pace for me)…. its SOO hot out though…. I was sweating so much afterwards!

Today’s run.

Now I didn’t start my injury prevention yet… oops but I have been running on the treadmill maybe every other day and outside some times. (Running on the treadmill hurts my piriformis muscle the least)!! I did feel it quite a bit though tonight after my run.. so I stretched and such and it slowly eased the pain! 

3 miles today, one mile to my friends house and then 2 on the mill… first 800m at 7:00 pace and the rest at 6:40 pace.

starting today I am taking precautions and of course injury prevention to the extreme… i made up a sequence of which I am to repeat 6-7 days a week starting as soon as I wake in the morning!!

I have also decided that i am going to start writing more in depth about my running and day to day snags when it comes to running as well as my daily routines! It not only gives the readers more to read and experience, but it also serves as a personal journal to look back on for my day to day training.

Sweaty dreadmill run…

Let me start off by saying I was DEAD afterwards…. 7:14 pace is A LOT harder on a treadmill than outside… it felt like I was racing…. I was sweating soooo bad and I got a runners high so quickly (even though the pre workout probably helped a little), but I did it.. 4 miles @ 7:14 pace on a dreadmill!!

8 mile run and some finds

Worked out before my run! Doing a total of 60 bicep curls with 25 lbs, 100 push ups, 3 minutes of planks, 50 bent rows and bent curls with 45 lbs. Splits:
